Crop insurance
Crop insurance covers damage that occurs to the growth of agricultural crops as a result of hailstorms or the occurrence of other natural phenomena (namely floodings, gales, fires, etc); furthermore, for selected crops, insurance may also cover damage due to winter destruction and spring frosts. Greenhouses and hothouses are also covered by crop insurance, including any plants raised therein. Decorative plants are also insured against damage or destruction by natural forces, and finally even fire damage to forest growth can be covered.
